Jannik Sinner has not given up: Andrea Gaudenzi’s revelation
Atp President Gaudenzi: “I spoke with Sinner’s agent, it is not a serious injury and he hopes to be there in Vienna.”
Jannik Sinner has not yet given up hope of participating in the season-ending Atp Finals in Turin. The Race for the Italian tennis player seems almost compromised after his latest injury, which forced him to miss the tournaments in Astana and Florence, but the South Tyrolean is aiming to return soon.
“I spoke with the agent, it doesn’t look like an extremely serious injury and they are confident that he will be able to play in Vienna and Paris to do everything to make it to the Finals,” are the words to Ubitennis from Atp President Andrea Gaudenzi.
Also in the running would be Berrettini, who is playing in Florence: “Matteo has this tournament, then there is Basel and Vienna, and finally Bercy. There are 1750 points up for grabs, of course they will have to play very very well. Tough, but not impossible.”
