Lorenzo Musetti knows what detail made the difference
Musetti passed Zapata Miralles.
Lorenzo Musetti spoke after his clear two-set win over Spain’s Zapata Miralles (6-3, 6-9), who was defeated in the match qualifying for the round of 16 at the ATP 250 tournament in Florence, Italy.
After the match, the Carrara native spoke at a press conference, saying he was very satisfied with his performance, “It was one of the best of my career.”
Musetti then highlighted the details that he believes made the difference against his Iberian opponent: “Definitely on serve I was outstanding. I want to continue to have experiences that make me grow, I’ve had many this year, including the Davis Cup with the Italian jersey and winning Hamburg.”
“I definitely prefer non-fast playing conditions and this court helps me out. Despite that, I expressed a very good level of tennis even in Sofia, where there was a faster court,” concluded the 2002 class from Tuscany.
The term ATP (Association of Tennis Professionals) refers to the association that groups all male professional tennis players from all corners of the world. The ATP’s primary task is to protect the interests of the players and also to organize essential services, such as, for example, the drafting of the world ranking, called the ATP ranking, and the scheduling of tournaments.
