MotoGp Ducati, Marco Bezzecchi frosty with Marc Marquez
“When a pilot always plays trail games, it’s not good,” Bezzecchi’s words
Ducati Mooney VR46 team centaur Marco Bezzecchi commented somewhat disappointed with his ninth place finish in official qualifying at the Australian Grand Prix.
“At the feeling level I feel good, I’m quite competitive even on the race pace. I also felt strong on the time attack, but I couldn’t make the most of it by starting way ahead. In any case, I took an important step forward today, as the new fairing gave me a big hand. At this point we just have to get the tire right ahead of the race,” said the Valentino Rossi team rider.
Bezzecchi did not spare a few jabs at the centaurs who relied on slipstream games throughout qualifying (among them, Marc Marquez): “I was disturbed several times for this reason, forcing me to the decisive lap with the tire now finished. It hurts when you know you’ve given everything correctly. It happens to everyone to be forced to take as a reference point an opponent in qualifying during the course of a championship. Someone, however, always does it, and in my opinion it’s not good.”
