Marco Bezzecchi won the title of ‘Rookie of the Year’

Great satisfaction for Marco Bezzecchi. The Italian centaur, after finishing fourth at the Australian circuit of Philip Island, received the ‘Rookie of the Year’ award.

The Mooney VR46 Racing Team rider spoke to the team’s official channels commenting on the important recognition and making a special thanks to Valentino Rossi.

“I am very happy with the race and the Rookie of the Year title. We’ve done so much good since the beginning of the year, we’ve grown so much and it’s not over yet. What a GP: fantastic, beautiful, I was fast and I fought for the win until the finish even if I struggled the last laps. Pecco (Bagnaia ed) was solid in braking, Marc (Marquez ed) and Alex (Rins ed) had something more, but I tried and I can’t complain. What a battle, I am overjoyed for the team, we are a special group, my family, the Academy and especially Vale who has always believed in me,” said the Italian, whose best result was a second place in the Dutch Grand Prix.
