Napoli suffers, Osimhen makes it exult: 3-2 to Bologna and summit
A not easy match and a 3-2 bursting: thus the top of the standings is confirmed.
Suffering but winning, Luciano Spalletti’s Napoli took a victory at the Maradona Stadium against Bologna that is worth +2 over Atalanta, second in the Serie A standings. The challenge against the Rossoblù, however, proves to be anything but easy.
The first half opens with a strong-willed Napoli but less lethal than on other occasions: Raspadori tries with a great shot that ends up on the bottom, then Mario Rui hits the crossbar and Politano shoots a great ball into the stars in the middle of the area. The goal then came in the 41st minute, but Bologna scored it: the author was Zirkzee, skillful in deflecting Cambiaso’s low cross into the net. The first half, however, ends in a draw: in the 45th minute Juan Jesus scores, with a precise right-footed shot on the development of a corner.
In the second half everything immediately seemed to change: in the 49th minute Lozano broke through a stubborn action by Mario Rui and Kvaratskhelia and from a very complicated position put Napoli ahead. Instead, already in the 52nd minute it was still even: the scorer was Barrow, with a conclusion from very far away that surprised an uncertain Meret. The signature on the victory is then Osimhen’s, who in the 69th minute takes advantage of yet another assist from Kvaratskhelia and slips it past Skorupski.
