Genoa, Alexander Blessin is not totally happy
Alexander Blessin calls for something more on the offensive end
While declaring himself happy with the victory against Spal that earned his Genoa passage to the round of the Coppa Italia, Alexander Blessin did not fail to point out one aspect he did not totally like in the success over the Estensi.
“It was not the best performance in the offensive phase,” the German coach sentenced in a press conference. “We dominated in the first half, we had 70 percent ball possession. In the second half we had chances to double and close the game and we didn’t do it, taking some risks.”
“Much better went in defense,” added Blessin, “but we were lackluster in attack. However, I am happy with the passage of the round, it will be nice to play at the Olimpico against Roma. Although now we have to go back to thinking about the championship, we have a very difficult game against Ternana.”
