Portuguese succeeds Nerazzurri Lukaku
At the Grand Gala of Football came the consecration of Leao who won the Best Player of the 2021/22 season award. The Portuguese succeeds Lukaku (Inter Milan) in the event’s roll of honor.
The Portuguese, at the center of many market rumors but with Milan’s top management confident about his renewal, wanted to dedicate the prestigious award to his parents, who were present at the event and decidedly emotional: “I’m proud of what I’m doing. I thank my parents, it was my dream since I was a child to win an award in front of them,” the simple but meaningful words of the talented star forward on AC Milan’s roster.
