Federica Brignone makes her giant slalom debut in Soelden: “So much satisfaction here”

Federica Brignone will make her debut Saturday in the opening women’s giant slalom of the Alpine Ski World Cup in Soelden, Austria. “It’s starting. My 13th appearance here in Soelden, a slope that has given me so much satisfaction. I arrive there happy to start again.”

“We had a very good month of training in Argentina with optimal snow and weather. We’ve put a lot of hay into the field, although I don’t feel at the top yet. Let’s see what comes out. I’m not putting pressure on myself because the season is so long. It’s only the first race and there will be times and ways to get results,” the Italian concluded at the official Fisi microphones.
