MotoGp Ducati, Pecco Bagnaia no-nonsense about Valentino Rossi
Ducati rider Bagnaia reiterates a concept: “I am not the new Valentino Rossi, no one ever will be.”
Ducati centaur Pecco Bagnaia on the sidelines of free practice for the Malaysian GP returned to reiterate that he does not feel he is Valentino Rossi’s heir, not even if he becomes the first Italian to win the MotoGp title since the Doctor: “I will not be the new Rossi, no one will ever be the new Valentino Rossi. I was still small to think about MotoGp when Vale won the world championship, but then I would wake up very early to see him. I had really liked his message, which was ‘old hen makes good stock’.”
On the free practice closed with some delay from the leaders: “When it started to rain I got worried, you risk having to go through Q2 with strong riders like Oliveira, Zarco and Morbidelli. I’m not in the top ten because of my mistake, I made a slight long and lost tenths. However, I am happy with the day, I was one of the few who improved the chrono with the used tire.”
