MotoGp, Aprilia and Aleix Espargaró bewildered: “What’s going on?”

Aprilia rider Aleix Espargaró: “I am angry, we are not fast.”

Aleix Espargaró confesses to being disappointed with his tenth time in official qualifying for the Malaysian Grand Prix in Sepang: “Qualifying was difficult, we didn’t have good speed. It’s too bad because at the end I was having a good lap, but I crashed in the middle of the circuit. We are not fast, I would like to have an explanation but actually we don’t know.”

The Aprilia rider to Sky cannot explain the problems: “The others are doing the same times as in the tests, even Martin even stronger, while the two Aprilias are going almost a second slower. I can’t explain why, but it’s already three or four races that we are not fast. It’s very strange.”

However, the opponents for the World Championship are all there: “Although I am angry today because we are not fast, I am overjoyed with my season. I am third in the World Championship with still title options, Fabio and Pecco start together with me, anything can still happen.”
