Pesaro, Jasmin Repesa must give up an important pawn
Repesa will have to do without Matteo Tambone
Bad news for Carpegna Prosciutto Basket Pesaro and its coach, Croatian Jasmin Repesa. In fact, the Marche-based club has announced the extent of the injury suffered by 1994-class point guard Matteo Tambone in the home loss against GeVi Napoli.
“Carpegna Prosciutto Basket Pesaro informs that the player Matteo Tambone during the last stages of the game Carpegna Prosciutto Basket Pesaro – GeVi Napoli suffered a trauma to the right wrist with radius fracture, for which a plaster immobilization has been applied,” reads the note of the Pesaro club.
Repesa’s men are coming off a bittersweet start in the league, where two victories came in the first two days against Trieste and Venice but also two losses, against Tortona and precisely Napoli.
