Estonians don’t move from Italy: extra problem for Brindisi
Vitucci has clear ideas
“We know the importance of the game within a balanced round against a team that has already shown good things this early in the season. We will have to be ready right from the two-ball. We want to redeem the first home loss and to do so we will need a solid and polished performance throughout the forty minutes.” Frank Vitucci presents the challenge with BC Kalev/Cramo this way.
The Estonian team is currently the fittest in the event with a five-win roster starting with the Qualification Round win in Lithuania at the end of September. A ride continued also in the regular season thanks to the home win against Groningen 75-65 and the external blow in Italy, in Veroli, Budivelnyk’s home venue, last week 74-83.
Due to the cancelled flight back to Estonia, Kalev/Cramo had to postpone the championship game and stay in our country waiting for the Brindisi match: one less long trip, one less competition.
