MotoGp: Valentino Rossi makes Pecco Bagnaia and Ducati happy
Tavullia centaur Valentino Rossi, having finished his GT championship commitments, will be in Valencia for the MotoGp grand finale.
Valentino Rossi will be in Valencia to watch the last MotoGp race and the possible celebration of his heir Pecco Bagnaia, who after a stunning comeback that began in mid-season has overtaken Fabio Quartararo and is now just two points away from the world title.
The Tavullia centaur, who finished the GT WCE championship with the WRT team, could not miss his pupil’s party, and that of another of his protégés and Ducati rider, Marco Bezzecchi, the season’s best rookie: according to Gpone reports, the nine-time world champion will be trackside in Spain to celebrate what looks like a real handover.
The last Italian rider to win in MotoGp was Valentino Rossi himself, 13 years ago, while Bagnaia in case of success will be the first Italian centaur since Agostini (1972) to dominate with an Italian bike in the premier class of MotoGP.
