Briatore talks about Juventus’ difficult period

Flavio Briatore in an interview with calciomercato.it went to the roots of the crisis of Juventus, which after last season without titles is going through another very complicated period: “I think Ronaldo when he arrived messed everything up a bit, I think even after winning everything, after a managerial change, there were managers who did not do a fantastic job.”

“It’s a sad moment for Juventus, but we have to say thank you to Exor who exists, who have put important capital and we also hope for a policy on young people, it’s useless to keep taking 35-year-old people, we should think about re-founding without running after something we can’t get.”

“I think when things don’t go well it’s a bit everyone’s fault, I think it’s everyone’s problem, from top to bottom, a team that doesn’t win has a general problem, then we always want to look for the scapegoat. We had Pogba and Chiesa who never played, I don’t even know what the real lineup is.”

“Management reshuffle? These are decisions of the majority shareholder who has to decide, it’s not up to the fans. In the meantime, let’s see what happens with the investigations, however, at this moment the appropriate forum is the Tribunal and Juventus will defend itself. The problem is that in Italy trials are also done with journalists, in my opinion everything is wrong, I would not speculate now. Me at Juventus? In soccer I have already given, I had QPR for four years, I would not accept.”
