Jannik Sinner, on Paris-Bercy there is already the shadow of Novak Djokovic
In France, too, the path is likely to be terribly complicated.
Jannik Sinner has already exited the ATP 500 tournament in Vienna, and now in order to take part in the ATP Finals in Turin he is called upon to pull off a miracle at the Paris-Bercy Masters 1000, which he must win while hoping that whoever is ahead of him in the season rankings will flop. But even this draw has already given him nasty surprises.
In fact, the South Tyrolean has ended up not only on the same side of the scoreboard as Novak Djokovic, but dangerously close to the formidable Serb. Indeed, he could face him as early as the round of 16, which would then represent a nightmarish crossroads toward the difficult feat of Paris-Bercy.
No better has gone to Matteo Berrettini, who in turn if he makes it to the round of 16 could find himself facing a decidedly tricky obstacle: Carlos Alcaraz. Lorenzo Musetti, on the other hand, will face the Marin Cilic exam as early as the first round.
