Monza patron Silvio Berlusconi in a post on Instagram commented on the crazy episode that occurred Thursday at the Carrefour in Assago: “In a shopping center one should spend a moment of leisure, not encounter terror and fear of death. My heartfelt sympathy to all those injured and, above all, my condolences to the relatives of the victim of the crazy act in Assago.”

Also among the injured was Monza midfielder Pablo Marí: “A hug to Pablo Marí from “my” Monza. The safety of citizens must be a value and the key to human civilization. For this, the state and local authorities must use every means at their disposal to guarantee it.”
