Juventus-Antonio Conte, here are the coach’s staples
It is already virtually started the toto-players in the Juve house
In the eye of the storm after the last two consecutive Premier League defeats, and after the mocking Champions League home draw against Sporting – where he also received a ‘red’ at the end of the match for vehement protests – Antonio Conte is flipping through the dais. Stay at Tottenham, where chairman Levy has offered him a rich, nearly 20 million annual salary until 2025, with a wide-open market budget, or tie himself back to Juve for a resounding and romantic return? Max Allegri’s fate seems, moreover, sealed: the square dreams of the advent of the coach, curiously already branded by some fans as a ‘traitor’ for moving to Inter in the 2019-20 season.
In the meantime, insiders are going wild about what could be the Salento coach’s choices regarding some players already belonging to the Bianconeri squad. Among the coach’s favorites would certainly be Weston McKennie, who could be the ‘Vidal’ of the situation, Dusan Vlahovic – whom Conte had already tried to bring to Tottenham last summer – and obviously Paul Pogba.
Green light also for a number of young hopefuls such as Federico Gatti, Nicolò Fagioli, Fabio Miretti and Nicolò Rovella, the latter now on loan at Monza, while the status of Manuel Locatelli, Moise Kean and Federico Chiesa would all have to be verified, although on the son of art the doubts seem more related to an attebta check on the post-injury physical condition than to the absolute value and utility of the player.
