World League, Setterosa ready for Super Final
Setterosa for the World League
Fifteen summoned, group confirmed in its entirety, to dispel a taboo and continue on the path of growth. After the scintillating European bronze medal won in Split last September and the fourth-place finish at the World Championships in Budapest in July, the Setterosa officially closes the 2021-2022 season with the Super Final of the World League: the only trophy missing from the Italian national team’s trophy case.
The setting is the beautiful pool at the Real Club Nautico in Santa Cruz de Tenerife in the always warm and sunny Canary Islands. What is new is the presence of New Zealand instead of Brazil in Group B. Canada, Holland and the United States, in the hunt for their eighth consecutive title, however, the opponents in order of schedule that the Azzurri will meet in Group A. Carlo Silipo’s national team leaves for Spain on Sunday afternoon; two days of training and testing before the debut against the Canadians on Wednesday, Nov. 2.
