Paul Pogba drama: official World Cup farewell.

There is no reprieve for Paul Pogba: the Frenchman will be available again in 2023 and will therefore be forced to miss the World Cup. This was confirmed by his own agent through a statement: “After yesterday and today’s medical examination in Turin and Pittsburgh, we inform that Paul Pogba will still need time to recover from his surgery. That is why Paul will not be able to play with Juventus before the World Cup break or with the French national team in Qatar. Paul will continue to work giving his best to return to the field for the fans and his team as soon as possible.”

This is the note Juventus issued: “In light of the recent radiological examinations performed at J Medical and the consultation carried out in Pittsburgh by Prof. Volker Musahl to evaluate the knee, Pogba needs to continue his rehabilitation program.”

In recent days, French coach Didier Deschamps had been very clear about this: “He will not come with us just because he is a group player: if he does not play first and is not in top form, it is useless to call him. He himself would not want him.”
