MotoGp, Yamaha: Fabio Quartararo makes mea culpa
Fabio Quartararo believes in it but admits to losing so many points on the road
In the last Gp of the season, in Valencia, Fabio Quartararo will need a real sporting miracle to overtake Pecco Bagnaia: ‘El Diablo’ will in fact have to win by force, and at the same time hope that the Ducati rider comes from 15th place down.
A complicated situation, created race after race, by the Frenchman’s own admission in the press conference held on the eve of the Valencia weekend, in a second part of the season that was far from satisfactory for himself and for Yamaha: “Sometimes I wanted to push too much, I made some mistakes, I realized it,” was Quartararo’s mea culpa.
Before stepping down from the throne of MotoGp world champion conquered in 2021, however, Quartararo announced battle: “My gap in the standings to Bagnaia is important, but I think for this very reason I will live it easier than him. I will try to live it as a normal race: I have nothing to lose, in the race I will have less pressure.”
