Virtus Bologna’s new center Ismael Bako, in an interview with ‘Il Corriere di Bologna,’ pointed out what he can bring to the coach of the Bologna team, Sergio Scariolo.

The Belgian class of 1995 is at his first experience in Italy after coming from the French league and, last season, from the Spanish one, where he wore the jersey of Manresa.

“Aggressiveness, good blocks and presence in offensive rebounding. I feel I’m a complementary player for our system, I want to play hard and bring energy, maybe with dunks that excite both the team and the public,” he explained, regarding Scariolo’s demands.

Finally, the player highlighted where he feels he needs to improve: “I want to become more technical. I base my game on athleticism now, but I also want to be comfortable if I have to take a frontal shot or if I have to make a move back to the basket. I want to vary and not just use physicality.”
