Dorothea Wierer, preparation continues in Norway

Technical director Klaus Hollrigl has decided to bring the Mi-Co 2026 biathlon teams to Beitostolen, Norway, to better plan for the 2022/23 racing season at the starting ribbons. The Azzurri athletes will train in the Nordic resort, with a series of training sessions running through Thursday, Nov. 17. Also with them will be the two elite group athletes Dorothea Wierer and Lukas Hofer.

Present will be – in addition to the aforementioned Hofer and Wierer – Didier Bionaz, Patrick Braunhofer, Tommaso Giacomel, David Zingerle, Daniele Cappellari , Lisa Vittozzi, Samuela Comola, Michela Carrara and Rebecca Passler. The group will be under the technical supervision of Alexander Inderst, Fabio Cianciana, Jonne Khakoenen, Andrea Zattoni, Arturo Epis, Riccardo Romani, Luca D’Incau, Giorgio Di Centa, Mattia Nicase, Christian Favre and Simone Biondini.
