MotoGp VR46, perfect Friday for Luca Marini
Marini is the fastest in the second free practice session
First day of free practice to be framed for Luca Marini. The Mooney VR46 Racing Team rider literally flew on the Ricardo Tormo circuit of the Valencia Grand Prix.
After a first free practice session in which he recorded the eleventh time, the Marche centaur raised the level, maintaining an excellent pace that allowed him to earn the first place in FP2 with an excellent time of 1’30″217, detaching by one tenth Jorge Martin, who finished in second place.
Valentino Rossi’s brother spoke this way to his team’s official channels, “Right from the start I had good riding sensations: I enjoyed every lap from FP1. This morning I struggled a little bit with the electronics then we were able to improve on different aspects. Traction, engine braking and even we changed the front livery to handle the wind better. The bike was easier to ride and in the afternoon we were really competitive. We keep working because the gaps are minimal and tomorrow many will improve. Hitting direct access to Q2 will be crucial.”
