F1, Daniel Ricciardo unveils his plans for the future
Ricciardo will leave McLaren at the end of the season
McLaren driver Daniel Ricciardo, who will leave the British team at the end of the season, has revealed his plans for the future, in the words reported by ‘FormulaPassion’.
“At the moment the situation is this and I don’t think my future can depend on the actions of others. I think that, as it were, opportunities will arise when they arise, but I don’t expect any concessions. Only then can I find my way. I want to take my time, keep some distance from the sport and regenerate but then if something makes sense in 2024, I will come back with a desire to redeem myself and have fun, hopefully fighting for top positions,” explained the Australian.
“The truth is that I want Hamilton to continue racing, as he is one of the greatest ever, and I think that confronting drivers of this caliber, dueling wheel to wheel, is great. The hope is that I can battle with him again in the future,” Ricciardo concluded.
