One year without Gian Piero Galeazzi

The first edition of the Gian Piero Galeazzi Trophy is scheduled for next Saturday on the Tiber. The press conference presenting the event will be attended by Roma Capitale’s Councillor for Major Events, Sports, Tourism and Fashion, Alessandro Onorato, journalists Gianluca and Susanna Galeazzi, Anellone A.s.d. president Bruno Mascarenhas and Gian Piero Galeazzi Trophy coordinator Edmondo Mingione.

Next November 12 will in fact mark the first anniversary of Gian Piero Galeazzi’s passing. Just to remember the figure of the rower, journalist and showman, thanks to the support of the Department of Major Events, Sports, Tourism and Fashion of Roma Capitale, this event named after Gian Piero was born. It is a rowing regatta born from the collaboration between Circolo Canottieri Roma, Circolo Canottieri Lazio and Anellone A.s.d. Many well-known personalities from the world of sports, entertainment and sports journalism will take part.
