Beppe Marotta doesn’t like it that way

Inter Milan CEO Beppe Marotta spoke at an event as reported by TuttoMercatoWeb.

First, the Nerazzurri executive commented on the Champions League draw: “Porto? On paper it could also be favorable but we have the utmost respect for Porto, an unpredictable team and we will play the return match at their home.”

Then he analyzed the defeat in Turin: “Juve? Disappointment and bitterness. The defeat is deserved, Juve, despite the defections deserved to win. I don’t look at the statistics but today I saw them and we have to reflect. We have conceded 19 goals including 16 away, with 4 defeats. We are Inter, we can’t do that and that’s why we have to make an analysis and solve this double face, which sees us playing well at home and badly away. How do we start again? By making an analysis, between technical area, coach and players, focusing in the next two matches, closing with Atalanta and having to make up for it in the direct clashes.”

He then returned to the Skriniar issue: “Skriniar? We would like to reach a conclusion, the timing I do not know but this week we will most likely have a meeting with his agent. Skriniar is very attached to the shirt and I hope that this attachment can translate into a positive definition of the relationship for everyone.”

“Scudetto? The championship, as everyone says, will be abnormal. When we resume in January with the important challenge against Napoli there will still be 25 days to play, with 75 points up for grabs. The path to date is punctuated by these 4 defeats away from home, that’s a lot for Inter. We have to understand where the substantial difference between the matches we play at home and those we play away comes from,” Marotta commented.
