Max Verstappen crushes sprint races

The words of Max Verstappen

Max Verstappen is not a supporter of sprint racing, and he made that clear in the pages of Formula Nerds.

“Whenever I race them, the goal is always not to take damage and make sure to stay in the top three. Only those who are out of position can climb back up, because using one tire that lasts for an entire stint, not much happens. We have had so many exciting races, so there is no need to add an event that lasts a third of the race distance.”

“Everyone is very cautious, because if you’re fighting for third place and you have a problem and you finish last, you know your weekend is going to be difficult. You probably won’t take any risks, so it’s not a real race,” he concluded.
