McLaren armors Oscar Piastri: multi-year renewal for him

Oscar Piastri and McLaren will continue their road together for a long time to come. The Australian driver was bound to the Woking team until the end of the 2026 championship, but his own stable announced on Tuesday that it had further extended the agreement with its bearer with a "multi-year" contract, although not specifying precisely the duration.
The announcement is not insignificant, because it removes from the square a driver who could have been a catch for many in late 2026. Without forgetting the precedent that Piastri himself already boasts, since in 2022 McLaren itself had managed to take him away from Alpine ahead of the 2023 season with a market flick that entered history. Also and especially taking into account the performance shown by the Australian in the last two seasons.
