LBA: the dream team of the sixth day
The LBA’s official Twitter account has announced the dream team of Day 6, chosen by users through voting on the federation’s app. Varese’s Guglielmo Caruso, Treviso’s Michal Sokolowski and Adrian Banks, Virtus Bologna’s Jordan Mickey and Trento’s Matteo Spagnolo are featured.
Guglielmo Caruso was also elected the best Italian of the sixth round, surpassing Marco Spissu (Umana Reyer Venezia) and Matteo Spagnolo (Dolomiti Energia Trentino) in the preferences: “I worked a lot this summer, in general thanks to the national team, but also on my own with Luis Scola and the Varese assistants. Yes, with Scola who is not only ad: already last year I had done something with him. Whenever he can he devotes time to us and he is doing well for me. Plus Varese is investing in enhancing players. And an athlete when he feels confidence, he is put in the condition to do well, then it depends on the individual. I started the year without unbelievable expectations, knowing that I was coming from a difficult first professional year between injuries and other things,” he explained.
