Fip’s number one raises his voice

Italy-Spain, a match valid for the qualification for the upcoming World Cup, is being played today in Pesaro. Petrucci, through the columns of Corriere dello Sport, wanted to point the finger at the clubs and managers of Serie A.

“We are the only nation in the world that in basketball cannot field the best possible lineup. An absurdity. This stems from the culture of our sports managers, who believe that a private body is more important than the national team; when you have seen what moves Italy. Why does this not happen in volleyball? This year FIPAV has been able to use players for three months and girls for almost five. That would be a dream with us,” his words.

There also comes a confirmation from the Fip number one: “Solutions? I do not have to propose anything. We will summon all the players, even when there will be simultaneity with the Cups.” Clubs warned.
