Inter, Edin Dzeko glosses over renewal issue
Dzeko glosses over renewal issue
Edin Dzeko with a brace was once again one of Inter’s best on the pitch in the Nerazzurri’s important win in Bergamo, thanks to which they are momentarily paired in second place with Lazio and Milan, who have yet to play, however.
The Bosnian striker spoke thus to Dazn’s microphones at the end of the match: “In the end they reopened it with a goal on a corner kick, which should not happen, but in general apart from the first 30-35 minutes we did very well.”
“The experience is there, the years are passing for everyone and it is normal that mine are coming. As long as I can I will give everything for Inter,” Dzeko continued.
He then commented on the World Cup break, “When you are doing well and scoring you want to continue, however, I think the break comes at the right time. It was important to win, then in January we will see.”
“No, I am playing for Inter. I am already under contract and if I can help the team, not only with goals, I am happy,” Edin said, glossing over the renewal issue.
Finally, the Nerazzurri bomber gave his thoughts on Napoli: “Napoli is doing great, however, the championship is long and we should not think only about Napoli. Now let’s rest and then think about Napoli, which is the first to start from.”
