F1, Charles Leclerc fed up with the rumors about Mattia Binotto
“Rumors remain rumors,” said the Ferrari driver.
Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc, who finished third in the second free practice session at the Abu Dhabi circuit, has returned to talk about the issue regarding Mattia Binotto and the possibility of a new team principal next season.
“On the rumors I would not like to comment more because, precisely, they remain rumors. There have always been around us this year and we’ve been quite good at staying away from these rumors to keep ourselves focused on our work, and that’s what we’ve done,” explained the Monegasque driver of the Rossa to the microphones of SkySport.
Charles Leclerc is the third driver from the Principality to have competed in the Formula 1 World Championship after Louis Chiron and Olivier Beretta, as well as the youngest ever to win a Grand Prix driving a Ferrari single-seater. In 2019, he made his debut with the Rossa, taking Kimi Raikkonen’s place, and in March he scored his first career pole position, in Bahrain. His first success with the Prancing Horse came at the Spa circuit in Belgium on September 1, 2019.
