Jenson Button foresees no gifts from Max Verstappen

The last Grand Prix of the year will be decisive in the race for second place, and everyone is wondering how Max Verstappen will perform.

Jenson Button has little doubt about that: “If he’s in the lead and Perez is 20 seconds behind, he probably won’t slow down to let him pass, so it would have been much easier to do that while they’re fighting for sixth.”

“It’s Max who wins races. If Checo is upset about that, that’s his problem. Sebastian Vettel did exactly the same thing with the ‘Multi 21,’ yet today we think Seb is such a sweet guy. Here it looks like Max has a big advantage over Checo, but we’ll see if that’s the case in qualifying.”
