Marko Rog explains the choice to stay in Cagliari

In the summer Marko Rog received several offers to leave Cagliari but the footballer decided to stay on the island. At the microphones of Sky Sport he explained his choice as follows, “I stayed in Cagliari with the firm will to bring this square back to where it deserves to be. The fans have always supported me in the difficult moments, during the two injuries I ran into. I never had any doubts about my choice and now I fight for this jersey and these people.”

“My role? The halfback, but I have always tried to put myself at the disposal of the team, the only thing that matters, and so I can also play in different positions as in the last few matches – continued the midfielder. In Frosinone it will be a tough match, as is normal when you face the leading team that is doing very well. It will be an important match, which can give us the turning point if we face it at our best by getting a result of weight. We are working well during this break and we want to be ready.”
