MotoGp, Giacomo Agostini explains the difference with Pecco Bagnaia
Giacomo Agostini compliments Ducati rider Bagnaia: “He showed that he has a great head.”
Multiple world champion Giacomo Agostini in an interview with As congratulated Pecco Bagnaia and Ducati for winning the MotoGp title: “We always need to have a hero, a rider who does things that others cannot do. That’s what the public wants and what Pecco did is important, he showed he has a great head.”
Agostini finds commonalities with the Piedmontese centaur, but also a difference: “I like him, because he is a quiet rider who doesn’t do a lot of showing off. He has some of my character, without doing strange things. He is also handsome, however, he already has a girlfriend, while I was free. That’s the difference….”
Agostini also complimented Ducati: “It’s great that Ducati, a much smaller factory, has managed to make all these bikes ready for victory, because all its riders can do it. The engineers should be given credit for that.”
