Parma, Vazquez: “There is a different air, and in January…”
The Crusaders’ midfielder: “Everything is different from last year.”
Parma midfielder Franco Vazquez in an interview with Sky highlighted the clear steps forward of the Ducali compared to last season: “The unity of the group? Too different from last year to now, you can’t make comparisons. This year is different, you see a more united team and group. The most important thing is that when there are three points it also becomes easier to work. You can see a different air.”
At the base of it all is Pecchia’s work: “I think the coach has been good, he has created since the training camp a group. That was what we lacked a bit. Then there are many young people, who have one more year of experience and know what they have to do. They know what a difficult league we are playing in, and then I, before I used to play more forward, now from 2-3 games I am more back. But it’s not important, it’s important to help the team and give my best.”
“The coach has a very important role. Then if you win, you get more confidence. But we have to continue, there is so much to go and the real championship starts in January, where every point will be important.”
