At 8 p.m. Italian time, the United States and Wales will close the first day’s schedule of the Qatar 2022 World Cup for the national teams in Group B. The match is scheduled at the Ahmed bin Ali Stadium in Al Rayyan.
Three Serie A players will take the field: they are Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie and AC Milan defender Sergiño Dest for the U.S. and Spezia defender Ethan Ampadu for Wales.
Only one unavailable in the two national teams, in fact the Dragons’ coach Rob Page will have to do without midfielder Joe Allen, still struggling with a hamstring injury. No defections, however, for U.S. coach Gregg Berhalter.
