Argentina-Saudi Arabia, the probable formations
Likely lineups
The first match of the third day of the World Cup in Qatar sees the debut of Argentina, engaged against Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, Nov. 22 at 11 a.m. Italian time.
Lionel Scaloni will not have to do without Messi, who has reassured on his physical condition. In attack with him will be the ‘Italians’ Lautaro Martinez and Di Maria. Also in midfield we find acquaintances from Italian soccer: Paredes from Juventus, De Paul, former Udinese and Papu Gomez, former Atalanta. In defense there is another former Udinese: Molina in fact occupies the right flank.
Renard responds with a 4-3-3 with the certainty Al-Buraikan as central point. Two doubts instead in midfield: Al-Hassan or Sharahili and Kanno or Al-Najei, with the former starting favored. On the right flank, too, there is a ballot between Abdulhamid and Al-Ghannam, with the latter the underdog.
Likely lineups.
