Yamaha, new signal to Valentino Rossi
Managing director Lin Jarvis in pressure on Valentino Rossi’s satellite team
Yamaha managing director Lin Jarvis confirmed that in 2023 the Japanese stable will have no satellite team in MotoGp: “We are taking a sabbatical year. This is not the best for us, because we have always had satellite teams in MotoGP, even more so in the 500cc class. But since the advent of four-strokes, we decided the optimal number was four. 2023 will be different, but it won’t be much of a limitation,” are the words reported by Insella.it.
“We need a team that can really help us in the championship,” Jarvis continued, “. And secondly we need a team capable of training riders and providing useful data.” According to rumors everything leads to Valentino Rossi and his VR46 Racing team, but they have a contract with Ducati until the end of 2024: “We take one step at a time…in this world you never know. Things change quickly,” is the message Jarvis sent to the Doctor, who has won four MotoGp world titles with Yamaha.
