F1, Max Verstappen’s surprising words about Lewis Hamilton
Verstappen displaces everyone: “I felt sorry for Hamilton”
Red Bull driver Max Verstappen in an interview with Sky Sports F1 made some surprise statements towards Lewis Hamilton, recalling Abu Dhabi 2021 and the controversy at the end of the World Championship: “When everything seems perfect for you and something like that happens to you, it’s hard. There will always be a winner and a loser. And if you’re the loser, it’s always going to be bad. And it’s terrible when it comes so close.”
“I felt sorry for him, but he won seven World Championships, including one where it looked like he was losing it. I always respected him, and I think we had a great battle,” said the two-time world champion, who tried to bury the hatchet after the controversy that was not lacking even in this last part of the season.
