Piero Bucchi ahead of the challenge against Pesaro

Dinamo Sassari coach Piero Bucchi presented the challenge that will see the Sardinian team engaged against Jasmin Repesa’s Vuelle Pesaro, a game valid for the eighth day of the Italian top basketball league.

“The team benefited from the victory against Scafati to shake off tension and toxins: as I said in the postgame, it was a game played with energy, with a good desire to be together, pass the ball and defend. The team was very compact and that’s an important sign. We changed faces, the inclusion of Deshawn Stephens brought positivity and energy, and the group moved with spirit and sharing. The energies of this win have projected into the good workouts this week and now we are preparing for the challenge against Pesaro: I am very calm because I see good intensity. Now we have to be good at transferring into the game what we do well during the week,” the coach said in the press conference, praising the change in gear of his team.

In the challenge against Pesaro, there will be a focus on Abdur-Rahkman: “He is currently the best scorer in the league and is collecting incredible numbers but I reiterate that their cohesion is the main strength which is why we have to do a good team defense beyond the qualities of individuals.”
