As many as 28 teams took the field on NBA night.

A basketball blowout. Games were played virtually everywhere, from West to East, on the American night following Thnaksgiving Day–Thanksgiving Day, which this year fell on Nov. 24. The 14 dsputed games featured all franchises except the Toronto Raptors and Dallas Mavericks, who will compete at 11 p.m. Italian time on Saturday, Nov. 25.

Of note was the Los Angeles Lakers’ first outside win of the season, coinciding not coincidentally with the return to the court, after a five-match absence, of LeBron James, who contributed 21 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists in 33′ minutes of play to the affirmation on the court of the San Antonio Spurs. On the other courts, usual Stpeh Curry put up 33 in Golden State’s fine win over the Utah Jazz. Milwuakee and Boston were also OK, while a 19-point Paul Banchero was not enough to prevent Orlando from a home loss to Philadelphia.
