F1, Esteban Ocon’s new dig at Fernando Alonso
Alpine driver’s new dig at former teammate
Alpine’s driver Esteban Ocon has returned to talk about his relationship with his now former teammate Fernando Alonso, who will race with Aston Martin’s single-seater from next season, launching a new dig.
“98 percent of the work was on my shoulders and 2 percent on his. I was overworked. I was in charge of development, the simulator, marketing,” admitted the Frenchman, in an interview with ‘L’Equipe’.
“I think with Pierre we can share the work very well. This will help me have more energy for the season and I’m sure it will go much better. With two Frenchmen, Alpine is hoping to make the top three positions in the championship challenging,” continued Esteban Ocon, confident ahead of next season, in which his partner will be compatriot Pierre Gasly, formerly of AlphaTauri.
