Lecce, Gabriel Strefezza reveals his dream
Gabriel Strefezza speaks
Lecce midfielder Gabriel Strefezza made some statements to la Gazzetta del Mezzogiorno, revealing his big dream.
“I think we have prepared very well for this Serie A season,” Strefezza began, “And we continue to train well. The new people have fit in perfectly and are doing well. They came here with the right mentality and attitude, with the desire to make their contribution to this team, which must save itself as soon as possible. I think ours is a good league.”
“They are different players. Ceesay prefers the deep ball and has a devastating run, counterattacking. Columbus, on the other hand, an exchange of passes: he is young and has a shot that is a bomb. Really I get along well with both of them. Then the coach decides, but there is room for everyone: the championship is still long,” he replied about his favorite attacking partner.
“Offers in January? I don’t know, I think about playing the best I can. If you think about these things you risk doing badly on the field. I think about being well and playing, then what has to come will come,” continued the Lecce penalty taker.
Finally he revealed his big dream: “It has always been a dream since I was a child. If you play in the national team you have the chance to show off, everyone looks at you and admires you. Perl honestly I don’t think about it today. I am focused on playing and doing well with Lecce. If a call-up comes I would be very happy.”
