Valentino Rossi remains Claudio Domenicali’s regret
The words of Claudio Domenicali
Claudio Domenicali, CEO of Ducati, in the pages of Marca returned to talk about Valentino Rossi’s two-year tenure at Ducati.
“When you have in your ranks the most famous rider in all of Italy, with nine world titles behind him, and you fail to win, you suffer considerable image damage. Apparently we failed to handle the situation in the best possible way and had to take the hit.”
Valentino Rossi has won nine world titles and also holds the record, exclusive in the history of MotoGP, of having managed to win in all categories: 125, 250, 500 and MotoGp.
A motorcycling icon, he retired in Valencia in November 2021 and his famous number 46 was retired at the last Mugello Grand Prix, held in May 2022.
