Alessio Cragno, Fiorentina ready to accelerate
Gollini close to farewell, Viola stays on Cragno
Fiorentina returned to the field on Thursday, in the friendly match won 4-1 against Arezzo, but it is not only players and technical staff who are back in motion. In fact, the management is active as well, to figure out what to do about the issue related to the second goalkeeper.
Pierluigi Gollini, little used in the first part of the season, would in fact already be ready to pack his bags to leave Florence in January, and the violet club would already be working to find another vice-Terracciano, who would not leave the role of second goalkeeper uncovered at the key moment of the year.
The most popular name is that of Alessio Cragno, who at Monza has so far not found the space he hoped for, closed by Di Gregorio. However, Fiorentina is planning to accelerate: the 28-year-old extreme defender, who was born among other things in Fiesole, could be of use to several A clubs, looking for a reliable goalkeeper for the second half of the season: the lily club must guard against possible competition from Inter and especially Napoli, which in turn is looking for a vice-Meret, and among other things should rediscuss the terms of the loan with Cagliari, who would pass from Monza to Fiorentina.
