Inter, Dalmat lapidary on the first part of the season
“Naples is too far away,” says Dalmat.
Former Inter player among others, Stephane Dalmat, gave his assessment of the first part of the season of Simone Inzaghi’s men, who have qualified for the round of 16 of the Champions League but are 11 points behind leading Napoli.
“I think a lot better could have been done. Inter has an important squad that can and should allow them to do well both in the league and in any other competition. True, it was a bit complicated first part of the season, but at least they did well in the Champions League,” the Frenchman said in an interview with ‘Interlive.it’.
“Is Inter still in the running for the Scudetto? I’m sorry to say it, but for me, no. It’s true, in soccer everything is possible, but I see it very difficult. Napoli is too far away. We will see,” Stephane Dalmat concluded.
