Reggiana basketball, Fucà expects an immediate reaction
The words of Federico Fucà on the eve of AEK-Pallacanestro Reggiana
Pallacanestro Reggiana has flown to Greece to prepare for the Basketball Champions League challenge scheduled for Wednesday, December 7 at 6:30 p.m. Italian time at the Ano Liossa Olympic Hall in Athens against the hosts of AEK, who in the first leg match won at PalaBigi with a score of 84-73.
This is the penultimate round of the group stage, which will then conclude on Wednesday, Dec. 21, with the home challenge that will see the Emilian club opposing the Germans of Telekom Bonn.
Awaiting the installation of the new head coach Dragan Sakota, deputy Federico Fucà, who will lead the red-and-whites tomorrow, spoke to official channels: “I believe that everyone, me first and foremost, is feeling a great sense of responsibility at this time for the situation we are currently in, which has led us to the change of technical leadership. For this reason, it is our duty to immediately try to improve our performance on the field, trying to play a good game in tomorrow’s challenge. In order to do so, we have to grow both in defensive intensity and in the ability to play together and pass us the ball in attack, knowing that we will have in front of us a very physical and tough team like AEK.”
