Facundo Campazzo has been cut by the Dallas Mavericks

Olimpia Milano continues to monitor the situation related to Facundo Campazzo. The Argentinean former Real Madrid point guard had moved overseas in 2020 to play with the Denver Nuggets’ jersey: after two seasons in Colorado, in the summer of 2022 the player had moved to Luka Doncic’s Dallas Mavericks, who, however, decided to cut the 1991 class.

Many top European clubs are hot on the trail of the Albiceleste star: of all the possibilities, the most plausible appears to be that of a return of the Argentine to the Blancos, who would have offered 1.6 million euros per season; however, Fenerbache, among the most in-form teams in Europe and currently the lone leader in the Euroleague, and Red Star, which would have come up with a 1.8 million euro contract proposal, also remain at the window.

The management of the Milanese club is still hoping for the possibility of bringing the South American player, who would be a great reinforcement for coach Ettore Messina, to the Lombard capital. In recent days there had also circulated the hypothesis of a return of Chacho Rodriguez to Milan in the case of a landing of Campazzo in Madrid, a hypothesis then promptly denied.
