“Marc Marquez furious, wouldn’t talk in car”: brother’s backstory

Alex Marquez: “Marc told me that nothing worked in MotoGp testing.”

Ducati Gresini team centaur Alex Marquez in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport revealed a backstory regarding his brother Marc Marquez, who was furious after testing with Honda in Valencia.

“We were in the car together and we didn’t say a word to each other. Marc was mad as hell. I asked him if he had tried new things, he said yes, but that nothing had worked, and that was it,” Alex revealed. “I just told him the Ducati was different. Also because he may be my brother, but I want to beat him.”

According to the younger Marquez, his brother is unlikely to leave Honda in the future: “I think that if Honda takes the steps forward that it needs to take, Marc will hardly leave. Because it is the House he has always raced with, which waited and respected him when he had the injury. But if the bike is not the right one to fight the world championship, then it will be possible.”
